Nexus Elemental brings together three founders with complementary strengths across engineering, operations, data, compliance, sales and marketing. Between them they bring more than a century of combined experience.
We believe specialist AI can help skilled professionals tackle complex work with greater confidence, quality and efficiency. We chose to start in legal case analysis because it is one of the hardest tests of whether AI can support human judgement in a serious, defensible way.
Dirk du Toit
Managing Director
Dirk leads product and engineering. He has 30 years of experience building and scaling enterprise technology across BAE Systems, Gartner, IBM and Descartes. He personally coded Eidelux across more than 400,000 lines of Python, TypeScript and SQL. Dirk brings the technical depth and delivery discipline needed to turn difficult AI ideas into working products.
Paul Brucciani
Marketing & Sales Director
Paul leads marketing and sales. He is an Imperial-educated go-to-market leader and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Information Security, with more than 20 years of experience translating complex technology into compelling enterprise narratives and commercial traction. His background includes BAE Systems, Garrison and WithSecure. Paul makes sure that hard technology is explained clearly, positioned properly, and taken to market in a way buyers can trust.
Tim Stewart
Operations Director
Tim leads operations, data and compliance. He is a data scientist with a solicitor law degree and 25 years of experience across enterprise data and compliance. He also brings founder experience from a successful SaaS exit, alongside senior regulatory credentials including SMF16/17. Tim gives Nexus Elemental the operational rigour and governance discipline needed for serious AI products in regulated environments.
